PPSC

The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) is a governmental body responsible for hiring civil servants and bureaucrats for the Government of Punjab Province in Pakistan.
The Commission was established in 1937 under the Government of India Act 1935. The Commission is headquartered in Lahore.
The Commission is responsible for conducting written exams, interviews and personality tests for the candidates applying for various civil service posts in the province. The Commission is also responsible for providing merit-based recommendations to the Provincial Government for various bureaucratic posts.
